AI usage is separate and billed by your provider. You paste your own Claude or ChatGPT key; Anthropic and OpenAI charge their published per-use rates and show you the meter. We add no markup and never see your prompts.

What's the difference between Personal and Work?
Personal is the agent for your own life: your personal mailbox and calendar, the house, your health, errands by phone, your own money. Work is the agent for your job: a work mailbox and calendar, Teams and Slack, triage, meeting briefs, projects, a sales pipeline, publishing, meeting calls. Both share the same core — chat, memory, People, approvals, the morning brief.
Why would I want Personal + Work instead of just Work?
Because your day doesn't split cleanly. Personal + Work is one Roy with both mailboxes and both calendars in one queue, one memory, and one record per person — but it keeps the two apart: it knows a work thread from a personal one, drafts in the right voice, and never leaks one side into the other. It's $10 more than Work alone and $19 less than buying both.
What does Enterprise actually mean?
Two things. Semi-custom is Roy adapted to the software your industry already runs on — practice, case, property or dealer management, an EHR, an ERP — with the workflows, retention rules and approval tiers that industry expects. Fully custom is for a new industry or for a company's own systems: we build the integrations and workflows for your internal tools and databases. How does the free trial work?
Pick a self-serve plan and create an account. You get every feature of that plan for 14 days, and the clock starts the day you install Roy — not the day you sign up. We don't ask for a card. When the trial ends, Roy keeps working for reads and your data stays put; outward actions pause until you choose a plan. Switch plans during the trial as often as you like. Enterprise doesn't have a self-serve trial; it starts with a conversation.
What do I need to run it?
A Windows 10/11 PC that stays on (that's where Roy and your data live), one AI key (Claude or ChatGPT), and one mailbox. For your phone, Tailscale — a free private network. For calls — errands on Personal, meetings on Work — a Twilio phone number. Mac (Apple silicon) and Linux builds follow.
Does my PC really have to stay on?
Yes — Roy runs on it, which is what keeps your data yours. A desktop or a laptop that stays plugged in and awake is fine; sleep pauses Roy, and the 06:30 brief needs it awake. A small always-on PC works well.
Why do I bring my own AI keys, and what does that cost?
Because Roy runs on your machine and talks to Claude, ChatGPT and Perplexity directly, on your account. Nothing is proxied through us, so we never see your prompts or your data. Each provider charges its published per-use rates and shows you the meter; there's no markup. How much Roy uses depends on how much it reads for you — the providers let you set a spending cap.
Can Roy send something I didn't approve?
No. Emails, posts, invites, messages, calls, HubSpot changes, trades and house locks are all drafts until you tap approve. You can pre-approve routine, low-risk actions if you want them instant, and some things always ask regardless. Every action is written to a log on your disk.
Where does my data live?
On your machine — mail cache, notes, memory, transcripts, the works. Keys and tokens live in your operating system's keychain. The only data that leaves is what Roy sends to the providers you connected, on your own keys. This website holds your name, email, plan and license key, and nothing else. Privacy policy →
How does the money desk actually move money?
It doesn't, until you tap. Roy reads your bank, card and merchant feeds (and the receipts that arrive as mail), matches what it sees to payees and invoices, checks each move against limits you set, and files a draft. You approve; above a threshold two of you approve; a payee whose bank details just changed needs a phone verification first. Payments run on PXP's rails under your own merchant account — Roy is the desk, not the bank. It's off until you grant "Move money for me".
Is there a hosted version, so I don't need a PC that stays on?
Not yet. One is being built — Roy run for you in a workspace of your own, with the same approval rules — but for now Roy runs on your PC and that's what these plans buy. If a hosted option matters to you, tell us on the Enterprise page and we'll say when.
Is the trading desk investment advice?
No. It analyzes and proposes; you decide. It runs on a practice account until you deliberately switch it live, every order passes a fixed set of risk rules, and nothing is placed without your approval. It's tooling, not advice.
Can I cancel? Is there a refund?
Cancel any time; you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for and it doesn't renew. If Roy hasn't worked for you, email us within 14 days of your first paid charge and we refund it in full. Your local data is yours and stays on your machine. Terms →
